The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Mortgages Transformation Lead to join our Banking & Payments team. You’ll work with Tier 1 banks, building societies, and specialist lenders to shape and deliver high-impact mortgage strategies and transformation programmes. Acting as both subject matter expert and product owner, you’ll play a pivotal role in enhancing customer experiences, streamlining operations, and enabling commercial growth through innovative solutions.
What You’ll Do
Lead large-scale mortgage transformation initiatives as SME or Product Lead
Design strategic roadmaps focused on efficiency, customer outcomes, and business value
Develop compelling business cases and target operating models for mortgage propositions
Provide business oversight and subject matter expertise across change programmes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated, forward-thinking solutions
What We’re Looking For
Extensive experience in financial services with a deep focus on mortgages and secured lending
Proven ability to lead transformation across strategy, design, mobilisation, and delivery
Strong consulting or industry background with hands-on exposure to the mortgage lifecycle
Skilled in engaging senior stakeholders and resolving complex design and delivery issues
Expertise in digital lending platforms, fintech innovation, and API-based solutions
Bonus Points For
Experience with journey design, pricing optimisation, and channel transformation
Deep commercial insight and experience in business case modelling
Ability to operate in high-pace environments while balancing strategic and tactical thinking
Familiarity with risk, finance, servicing, and operations within a mortgage context
Track record of delivering measurable outcomes in cost-to-serve and customer satisfaction
