Senior Workday Analyst
The Opportunity
Rapid7 is looking for a Senior Workday Analyst to join our growing People Systems team. This position will be responsible for assisting with the management of Workday (referred to as MyMoose internally), which includes Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Learning, Reporting and Integrations. Rapid7's Workday system is our central hub for all employee data currently holding data of over 2,400 employees and counting. In this role you will:

  • As part of a collaborative Total Rewards team, participate in the ongoing global design, maintenance, configuration and reporting for Workday.
  • Respond to system related inquiries, diagnose issues and develop solutions in a timely fashion.
  • Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards, including advanced calculated fields.
  • Conduct training, including developing user procedures, guidelines and documentation for new and existing processes/functionality.
  • Provide technical support for Annual Compensation Cycle andAnnual US Benefits Open Enrollment, among other projects.
  • Partner with key stakeholders and collaborate internally to create business requirements documentation, work to evaluate requirements to system capabilities, configure and execute testing efforts, and deploy new functionality.
  • Maintain proper documentation of system configurations to satisfy the company's internal/external audit controls and compliance practices to achieve efficiency, productivity and improved governance and control.
  • Participate actively in the Workday Community, propose and advocate for process/customer service improvements to the Workday solution, and build a network of peers to best-practice-share with.
  • Proactively monitor new features released by Workday and advocate for appropriate adoption plans


The skills you'll bring include:

  • 4+ years experience managing Workday in a global organization, including some of the following modules: Core HCM, Learning, Compensation, Benefits Recruiting and Reporting / Analytics.
  • Experience maintaining systems that cover multiple countries as well as implementing new design or supporting annual processes.
  • Experience with Configurable Security Fundamentals, Business Process Fundamentals and HCM Transactions Required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including use of advanced formulas,v-lookups and pivot tables.
  • Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality of employee data.
  • Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure.
