Primary Purpose: The Senior Inventory Planner Market place, will support the Tapestry EU Inventory Management team in creating, finalizing and driving in season management of OTB plan across Market place channels, leveraging total regional inventory ownership opportunities.  A key role in delivering performance against sales and margin targets, maximizing pre and in season inventory and driving cross channel inventory optimization opportunities. 

Reports into Manager, Inventory Management Market place – Tapestry.

The successful individual will leverage their proficiency in Inventory Management to:

  • Key contributor in driving cross channel inventory optimization in line with global inventory brand targets and to support delivery of Tapestry Europe Annual Operating plan and facilitate inventory optimization.
  • Publish the detailed MKP Coach Europe and Kate Spade Outlet OTB plan based on top-down guidance provided, partnering with Buying to drive category opportunities.  This includes sales, gross margin, shipment, inventory turn and WOH targets at dept / class level
  • Manage seasonal assortment and inbound volumes to ensure Market Place channel has optimal inventory levels to meet growing market sales
  • Multi DC management of inventory, requiring regular review and rebalance across DCs
  • Partner with IM counterparts to drive movement of aged inventory through MKP disposition and relevant channels. reflect any projected impact to margin following discussion with finance 
  • Maintain departmental analytical and reporting tools in line with required output (Master assortment files, weekly trade templates)
  • Execute monthly Market place SMI deliverables - sales reforecast against OTB plans, shipments, inventory, GM%, DR% targets, stock turn.
  • Carryover vs seasonal inventory strategy (NOOS management) In season trading – drive risk and opportunity discussions and actions

The accomplished individual will possess

  • 2+ years of Merchandise Planning / Inventory Management
  • Organised and analytical with strong attention to detail
  • Advanced computer skills in Excel and retail planning systems e.g. RPAS, Cora, SAP 
  • Knowledge of the fashion or accessories luxury goods market
  • Ability to manage own workload and effectively focus on multiple priorities
  • Excellent collaborator with the desire to achieve team objectives and goals
