In this role, you will:
- Lead strategic analytics projects end to end, from requirements definition, to data modeling, to visualization
- Collaborate with team members and business partners to collect business requirements, define successful analytics outcomes, and design & deliver action-oriented dashboards to support strategic company initiatives
- Partner with other members of the data team on broader data quality & governance initiatives
- Drive engagement with our analytics community at Rapid7 by sharing best practices, community resources, and creating engaging enablement material
- Assist with onboarding users and other administration tasks in our analytics tools like Tableau & Metabase
- Passionate about delighting customers, puts the customer needs at the forefront of all decision making
- Excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrable experience of delivering complex solutions to customers
The skills and qualities you'll bring include:
- Advanced knowledge of SQL with strong analytical skills
- Experience business intelligence tooling - Snowflake & Tableau preferred
- Strong work ethic, resiliency, desire to learn, organizational skills and self-motivation
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead projects independently
- Agile mindset & iterative approach to developing deliverables
- Sharp business and interpersonal skills; Should be able to effectively communicate status and escalate blockers
- Be a team-player! Our team has a nice balance between independent and collaborative work
- 5+ years of experience in a data-focused role is preferred
- Prior experience working in the cybersecurity space preferred
- BS in Analytics, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science or another quantitative field or equivalent experience
