Are you looking for a Product Design role that offers you the opportunity to be involved in various activities such as research, ideation, testing, and validation? Do you enjoy tackling difficult challenges and creating outstanding user experiences? Then this position is definitely a great fit for you!
We're looking for an awesome Senior Product Designer to fill in the very big shoes that'll be left soon by our dear , who's leaving us.. For another department 😱
Your mission, if you accept it, is to join our nodes team who works on the bread and butter of n8n: The many API integrations that we have as well as the custom logic nodes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the design work of the nodes team ensuring an amazing user experience for our many users
  • Work alone and reach out for support when needed: Autonomously solve problems in the product and design space, making sure your team can deliver to it’s KPIs using your research, design and insight as a stable starting point.
  • Bringing clarity to our priorities by working closely with our Product Managers to create the data needed to take the best decisions for our users.
  • Collaborate with Product & Engineering, making sure that Design is part of the whole process rather than an afterthought
  • We are a start-up which means that there are a lot of processes that need to be improved and we want everyone in the team to contribute!
Requirements

Must-have

  • You've got 5+ years of Product Design experience designing tools used by experts to build and solve problems (e.g developers, designers, architects)
  • You are technical and you know how to code (preferrably javascript/Typescript). Maybe you are a former developer/engineer, or you have built your own startup from scratch.
  • Great attention to detail and very thorough
  • You enjoy a fast-paced environment where there are still a lot of big questions to answer
  • You have experience working end to end, from problem statement to solution implementation
  • You know how to use data to showcase the success (or failure) of a solution

Nice-to-have

  • Experience working on B2B or SaaS products
  • Passion for automation and the no-code/low-code space
  • Advanced prototyping skills, like in Origami or Protopie
  • Deep experience with user testing, incl. different methods
