Your role at Kittl

As a Senior Product Designer on the Image Composer team, you’ll design intuitive, visually stunning experiences that make AI-powered tools feel simple and inspiring. You’ll work closely with product and engineering to turn technical possibilities into user-friendly features, helping professional designers thrive on the Kittl platform. You’re passionate about design craft, quick to experiment, and deeply attuned to user needs—bringing creativity, clarity, and collaboration to everything you build.

What you’ll do

  • Help users harness the power of AI: Craft experiences that empower designers to work faster—built by designers, for real design work

  • Drive user engagement: Focus on boosting interaction with image composing features

  • Iterate: Wireframe and prototype new ideas, then quickly refine them based on performance insights

  • User research: Run research and usability tests to ensure interfaces are intuitive and impactful

  • Interpret data: Work closely with data analysts to translate user behavior into actionable design improvements

  • Collaborate: Partner with product and engineering teams to implement designs and ensure consistency across the product

What you’ll need

  • Experience: At least 5 years in design, with an interest in turning AI-powered products into user-friendly, innovative, and delightful experiences

  • Portfolio: Your portfolio showcases a diverse range of work, including case studies, ideally featuring AI-related projects, supported by clear success metrics

  • Design skills: Expertise in design principles, typography, colour theory, and user-centered design principles with a proficiency in Figma and sharp eye for visual details

  • Be KPI driven: An innate understanding of metrics, KPIs, and how design can impact them

  • Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills whilst working cross-functionally

  • Be a self-starter: Motivated to take initiative and work independently, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

Interview process

  • Recruiter interview (30 min)

  • Technical interview with Chief Product Officer (45 min)

  • Take home design assignment

  • Interview with Design Producer & Senior Product Manager (60 min)

  • Bar raiser interview with Chief of Staff, right hand to CEO (45 min)
