The Position

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer that architects, evolves and advocates for design systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about systems-driven design and will play a key role on the Design Systems team, capable of driving approaches that empower all of design and engineering to deliver at scale and collaborating with multiple departments within FanDuel.

This is an exciting opportunity to shape intelligent, adaptive interfaces while implementing and championing emerging technologies including AI, helping elevate user experiences and leading design system innovation at a premier gaming company. You'll work on high-visibility projects spanning multiple teams and business units, setting standards that influence our entire design ecosystem.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Build and maintain scalable systems in Figma that are flexible, and seamlessly translate to code, strengthening design-development collaboration across platforms
  • Pioneer integration of emerging technologies into design systems (AI, automation, new tooling) to deliver future-ready scalable solutions that support product growth
  • Champion design system adoption across product, design, and engineering teams through compelling storytelling and strategic influence
  • Drive systematic design approaches that balance exceptional polish with strategic purpose, supporting both user needs and business goals
  • Present design system value as a product accelerator to stakeholders, building organizational alignment and advocacy
  • Audit and enhance existing features to maintain industry-leading quality standards and optimal usability
  • Advocate for inclusive design practices that expand accessibility across all user experiences, ensuring design system features meet WCAG standards by default

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years product design experience with 2+ years focused on design systems, with a proven track record of contributing, implementing and governing design systems at scale
  • Expert-level Figma proficiency including advanced components, variants, and library management for complex web and mobile applications
  • Solid UI fundamentals and systematic design principles that create scalable, elevated user experiences across product portfolios
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to present, influence rationale to partners, and advocate for design system best practices.
  • Understanding of how design decisions drive key metrics and contribute to product strategy and work collaboratively to find the right problems to solve, rather than just task completion
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for refining workflows, improving efficiency, and enhancing cross-team collaboration
  • Industry expertise in design system trends with competitive analysis capabilities to inform systematic design decisions and improvement opportunities

Nice to have :

  • Strong technical understanding of front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks) to facilitate seamless design-engineering collaboration
  • Proven ability to scale emerging technologies (especially AI) to transform design systems, optimize workflows, and improve cross-functional efficiencies
