The Senior Product Manager, Enterprise Platform Administration will focus on developing scalable and compliant data infrastructure to enable biopharma enterprises to efficiently manage and analyze their scientific data via data retrieval, advanced analytics, AI, and ML. This role will focus on enhancing platform administration capabilities to ensure seamless data access, governance, and operational insights across vast scientific datasets

As the Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining, releasing, improving key platform capabilities such as identity and access management, data governance, operational analytics, and our ML / AI infrastructure. In this role, you will work directly with Scientific IT customers,  to ensure the product operates effectively with enterprise cloud environments and lab ecosystems enabling visibility into PB-scale data and billions of scientific records, customers’ ​​most valuable IP such as data that supports the research, development, and manufacturing of live-saving therapeutics..   

In this role, you will also collaborate with TetraScience engineering, architecture, data engineers, and customer teams to ensure platform administration aligns with customer needs in data and metadata governance, access control, auditability, and ML/ AI Ops. You will drive initiatives to enhance system reliability, identity management, artifact version management management, observability and permission frameworks, ensuring that biopharma customers can efficiently manage, track, and analyze their scientific data.

This is a high-impact role requiring both strategic leadership and technical depth. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting cloud-based data platforms, driving initiatives that improve system reliability, security, and data accessibility. Success in this role will require the ability to engage with customer technology leaders, understand their evolving needs, and deliver solutions that scale across multiple enterprise SaaS environments. 

  • Own the Enterprise Platform Administration area product strategy and roadmap, prioritizing data governance, compliance, and operational intelligence  areas.
  • Define and optimize access management, authentication, and audit capabilities in alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Build relationships with Scientific Technology (IT) customers; understand customer’s processes and objectives; and introduce new ways of doing things better and more productive and solicit feedback
  • Research other industry comparables, and market trends to propose roadmap trade-offs between parity and innovation
  • Bring creative ideas and proposals to development teams and executives supported by qualitative justification and quantitative analysis.
  • Define and measure KPIs to track adoption, performance, and user behavior of platform administration and search capabilities.
  • Develop and validate new concept prototypes.
  • Lead product requirements definition and ensure timely delivery of valuable experiences.
  • Manage area roadmap and work with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and overall goals with your team
  • Decompose complex use cases and technical requirements into smaller manageable stories by creating and prioritizing a backlog with your engineering team.
  • Assess roadmap / backlog trade-offs, make recommendations informed by stakeholder and technical constraints, and deliver innovation with this in mind.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of technical product management experience, preferably in scientific data management, cloud platforms, or SaaS.
  • Prior experience with enterprise SaaS customers
  • Strong technical background in cloud computing, identity and access management, ML / AI model management, and enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • Proficient in data governance design for including functional metadata management, schema, model management.
  • Ability to drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, security, compliance, and customer teams.
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in management, business, computer science or other equivalent.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience in BioPharma, in the research, development, or manufacturing areas
  • Evolve the platform capabilities for deployment, management, inference, observability, and evaluation of customer’s, partner’s, and TetraScience’s  ML / AI models.
  • Experience with AI-powered search and retrieval, data governance systems.
