WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
  • Strategic Problem Definition: Transforming customer challenges into coherent narratives and actionable initiatives to inform a roadmap that advances our AI-first platform strategy.

  • AI-First Product Innovation: You will use security & compliance insights, customer behaviours and market opportunities to identify new opportunities for intelligent automation.

  • Multi-Area Product Leadership: Work with the team to define a living 12-month roadmap across multiple product areas within our security and compliance platform, proactively communicating strategic direction and achievements across the organisation.

  • Customer-Centric Discovery: You will conduct monthly customer calls across target segments, which, combined with your research, will uncover deep customer needs and align with the company vision.

  • Cross-Functional Execution: You will influence and embed stakeholder engagement into team rituals to ensure that 80% of critical projects are delivered to expectations, on time, and within budget.

  • Market Intelligence & Competitive Strategy: You will regularly evaluate market health, competition, and win/loss data to shape product strategy, translating regulatory shifts into product opportunities and positioning our platform for sustainable competitive advantage.

  • AI-Augmented Product Practice: You will leverage AI tools for your own productive needs and share lessons learned with the broader team spanning our areas of work, including but not limited to scoping, research, QA, demo scripting, prototyping, and ideation.

  • Data-Driven Product Health: You will lead periodic analysis of metrics, activation signals, and adoption data, owning outcomes while experimenting with new feedback capture methods to continuously improve product performance.

THE QUALITIES YOU'LL NEED FOR A SUCCESSFUL CAREER AT DATAGUARD
  • 6+ years in Product, including 2+ in B2B SaaS, with experience managing platform capabilities areas or product slices.

  • Proven experience automating product workflows, leveraging AI for prototyping and ideation, and implementing AI-feature strategies with measurable customer adoption and business impact.

  • Skilled in defining problems across multiple product areas and building modular roadmaps that deliver scalable, step-by-step value.

  • Track record of conducting 10+ monthly customer conversations across segments, · forecasting future customer needs to drive product strategy and roadmap prioritisation.

  • Strong command of analysing sales, usage and product metrics whilst ensuring an outcome-focused experimentation approach.

  • Experience in engaging and leading regular data reviews with cross-functional partners and influencing alignment on joint improvement initiatives.

  • Willingness to develop a deep understanding of Privacy, InfoSec & Compliance domains while staying current with regulatory shifts and industry best practices.

  • Obsession to lead with product demonstrations, that tie product releases to business outcomes, and communicate roadmap milestones with consistency across all stakeholder levels.

  • Comfortable experimenting with emerging AI tools and lightweight testing methods.

  • Strong understanding of software development processes, design principles, and ability to work effectively with Engineering teams on platform architecture decisions.

  • Ability to debate, disagree and commit, challenge assumptions, and ensure exploration is broad yet focused and demonstrable, while maintaining empathetic stakeholder relationships.

  • Be a reliable executor and deliver 80% of critical projects on time and within budget.

  • C1-level German for smooth collaboration with DACH stakeholders.
