Product Manager - Middleware & Integrations (m/f/d)

The Opportunity 🏆

We are looking for a hands-on, strategic (Senior) Product Manager for our Middleware and Integrations domain who’s passionate about delivering world-class user and partner experiences. In this role, you’ll own a portfolio of forwarder-focused products that help our customers integrate deeply with cargo.one and leverage our infrastructure and content to drive efficiency and win more business.

This is a unique, entrepreneurial opportunity to be driving the digitalization of air freight and logistics in a fast-growing Series B company backed by leading Venture Capital firms including Index and Bessemer.

We foster a positive, dynamic, hard-working and feedback-heavy culture, with a strong dose of playfulness. Join us now and transform the way airlines sell cargo!

🌍 You can work from (almost) anywhere in Europe. See which countries we can employ in currently by checking out this list here. We are a remote company, but regularly meet in person, too.

🎬 A snapshot of what you will be doing here:

As part of our product team, our middleware domain is responsible for all of our horizontal platform layers. This includes core infrastructure to orchestrate and provide content for internal and external applications, our Connectivity suite (APIs and Integration Management), product analytics and administrative features like user management.

Your responsibilities:
  • Own the roadmap for a set of middleware and integration products

  • Deeply understand user needs by engaging in our GTM motion and supporting our sales processes and discovering the ideal implementation for prospects and customers

  • Define key metrics and work closely with engineering, sales, marketing and our operations and support teams

  • Drive adoption and ACV growth through great product decisions

  • Collaborate with the broader team to shape our product strategy

  • Ship features that make a real impact — across both enterprise and SMB customers

🕵 We are looking for individuals who:
  • 4+ years of product management experience, ideally at late Series A to Series C startups

  • Hands-on product-building experience with examples of leading strategy or owning a product portfolio

  • Strong communication and writing skills; confident leading discussions with business and technical stakeholders

  • Technically curious; JSON is your love language, you have practical experience working with and designing APIs, running integration projects, writing queries to get the data you need and utilize automation tools to help build your POC or v1

  • Experience managing backlogs, defining metrics, and shipping meaningful outcomes

  • You're a strong IC who wants to do the work (not just manage others)

  • You embrace uncertainty and display a high level of adaptability;

  • You are willing to learn and open to accepting feedback, generously giving their own in return.

❤️ We think you will love working here if:
  • You value building great relationships and trust with your team and managers.

  • You love experimenting with new ideas and get super excited when you find an opportunity for process improvement.

  • You see working remotely successfully as a pioneering challenge which is constantly evolving.

  • In everything you do, you take ownership and get a kick out of exceeding expectations.

  • When faced with the choice, you’d rather opt for the ambitious to ensure you grow, than take the easy option.

  • You see the value of giving and receiving feedback and incorporate this into everything you do.

  • You are not afraid to voice your opinions and like using data to back them up
