Senior Product Manager

What does a successful Senior Product Manager do?

Within Carat, Digital Commerce EMEA, we help businesses simplify payment processing and improve the customer experience with our broad portfolio of products, including credit and debit card acquiring, local & alternative payment methods, inApp payment products, gift card and loyalty solutions, eCommerce, information and analytics solutions, fraud prevention, mobile solutions and more.

 What you will do

  • Feature Management: Translate market requirements into actionable feature specifications, manage backlog refinement, and document features for both internal and external audiences.

  • Collaboration and Strategy: Collaborate with Enterprise Business and stakeholders to ensure the feature pipeline delivers customer value, and align product strategy with overall business objectives.

  • Progress Tracking: Track development progress across multiple releases, providing regular updates to the Channel/Product Area Lead, and managing all aspects of in-life products, including customer feedback and issue resolution.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough competitor analysis and provide insights to product marketing on key differentiators and messaging, supporting effective go-to-market strategies.

  • RFP and Sales Support: Work closely with sellers and bid managers to prepare high-quality, timely RFP responses, while actively managing the sales pipeline for Digital Commerce EMEA products.

  • Problem Solving and Execution: Demonstrate problem-solving skills to address complex challenges, driving action throughout the organization to successfully bring products to market.

What you will need to have:

  • Digital Commerce and Product Expertise: Solid understanding of Digital Commerce fundamentals and opportunities, with demonstrable product management experience that bridges sales and technology functions.

  • Results-Oriented and Self-Motivated: A proactive individual who prioritizes workload, manages time effectively, and takes ownership of issues, ensuring timely resolutions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong Communication and Relationship Management: Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with sales teams and large customers, focused on developing and maintaining revenue-generating business relationships.

What would be great to have:

  • Product Development Experience: Proficient in building Minimal Viable Products (MVPs), planning future iterations, and managing backlogs, with familiarity in JIRA and Confluence for project management.

  • Technical Integration Knowledge: Strong understanding of micro-frontend UIs and their integration with REST APIs, providing a technical edge in product development.

  • Continuous Learning and Education: Dedicated to professional growth through self-challenge and learning from others, supported by a Bachelor’s degree or higher in business administration, computer science, or equivalent work experience.
