World Leader in Glucose Monitoring, Abbott Diabetes Care designs, develops and manufactures glucose monitoring systems for use in both home and hospital settings. We have a Centre of Excellence in Witney for the development and manufacture of electrodes and biosensors used by patients and healthcare professionals for the day-to-day management of diabetes. The site has been instrumental in the research, development and manufacture of the FreeStyle Libre Flash Glucose Monitoring System as well as exciting developments in the Libre family including FreeStyle Libre 2, FreeStyle Libre 3 and the Libre Sense system. We are passionate about doing work that improves the quality of people’s lives.

We currently have an opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our team, providing pivotal support to the ongoing activities around our growth as a facility, with a focus on new product introduction, design change projects, and space expansion programmes. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and oversight of subsections of larger projects/programs or subprojects with the aim of ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently and are completed on time and within budget.. Your interactions will be wide, and you will work with many teams across our business, including R&D, Engineering, and the wider Operations groups.

To be successful, you will bring experience from a project based role – you may have been a Project Assistant, and will have bring a good understanding and experience of applying project management methodologies. Preference is given to those from a regulated background, bringing understanding and awareness of change control frameworks. An advanced level education is required as a minimum, although degree level preferred, along with strong skills in the MS Office space, with experience in MS Project.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual who takes initiative and is able to work within a small team, but also interact on a wider business scale, leading and influencing where necessary. You will need to have excellent communication and time management skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing and dynamic environment.
