Job Description SummaryThe Gas Power Service Senior Project Manager will manage complex aftermarket projects involving upgrades on one or more of the following: Industrial Heavy-Duty Gas Turbines, Aero-derivative Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Generators, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, and/or balance-of-plant equipment.

Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Serve as the main customer contact during project execution and drive resolution of customer issues.

  • Lead the end-to-end execution of service projects, coordinating engineering, procurement, logistics, and field execution.

  • Define and implement the project execution strategy to ensure successful delivery.

  • Manage project schedule, financials, margin, risks, and change management.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure contractual deliverables and performance guarantees are met.

  • Maintain project documentation and management systems while providing regular project status updates and reviews.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks and capture lessons learned and best practices.

  • Support the tendering and ITO phase by contributing execution expertise and project insights.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in project management within the power generation or energy sector.

  • Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and contract management.

  • Experience working with gas turbines, steam turbines, generators, HRSG, aero-derivatives, or related power plant equipment.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to travel approximately 25%.

  • PMP certification (or willingness to obtain) is highly desirable.
