Job Description

Join our Team:

We are looking for a Senior Project Manager to fill a vital role in support of a key Defence Nuclear Sector Client, able to commit to this long term infrastructure project management role.

Your Mission:

  • Daily Portfolio Support: Assist the client with day-to-day operations to ensure smooth project delivery. 📅
  • Continuous Improvement: Review lessons learned to improve processes and outcomes. 🔄
  • Process Compliance: Ensure all procedures align with the client standards. ✅
  • Programme Coordination: Support enabling programs like Digital, OCP, and Nuclear Baseline. 🔧
  • Promote Collaboration: Lead a culture of openness and teamwork across the organization. 🤝
  • Efficiency Exploration: Identify opportunities to share resources and create synergies across client programs. 💡
  • Best Practices: Bring in external expertise to enhance portfolio management. 🌍
  • Resource Management: Serve as the main point of contact for resource performance, quality, and personnel issues. 🧑‍💼
  • Contract Management: Represent the consultant in managing contracts, communications, and risk with the client. 📜

This role requires a strong focus on leadership, collaboration, and continuous improvement to ensure the successful delivery of the client portfolio.  

Qualifications

Skills to be successful:

This role demands a strong focus on stakeholder engagement, project management expertise, and commercial acumen. Key attributes include:

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders. 🤝
  • Project Knowledge: Deep understanding of project management, including how various elements integrate and contribute to overall success. 🛠️
  • NEC Experience: Familiarity with NEC contracts is required.📑
  • Leadership in Meetings: Ability to knowledgeably lead meetings, especially for Early Warnings and other critical discussions. 🗣️
  • Full-Time Role: This is a full-time position with 3 days in the office, based in Glasgow. 🏢
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong commercial understanding to drive successful outcomes. 💼
