You’ll be joining an award‑winning, hardworking and commercially minded Technology Services team, working closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver meaningful change.

Our people are our success and we work as one team.

We are recruiting a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex, enterprise‑wide technology and business transformation initiatives within our Digital Delivery & Change team.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of Digital Delivery & Change and will be responsible for delivering complex transformation projects across all areas of the firm, with matrix-management responsibility of project resources from other areas of the firm and third-party suppliers as appropriate.

The Senior Project Manager will also be responsible for line management of the Digital Delivery & Change Senior Business Analyst, Project Managers, Business Analysts and Project Coordinators and will include monitoring performance, setting objectives, conducting the 6-month check-ins and annual appraisals, providing guidance and coaching on learning and development plans.

Our standard working hours are 9.30am–5.30pm and we operate 3 days in the office, 2 days from home working model; however, as an inclusive employer, we are willing to consider any flexible working requests.

Candidate Overview

We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:

  • Significant experience delivering complex, enterprise‑wide transformation projects using waterfall, agile or hybrid approaches, ideally in a legal or financial services environment.
  • Forward-thinking with experience of automation, artificial intelligence and emerging agentic AI capabilities, with a strong focus of identifying smarter more efficient ways of working and driving innovation.
  • Proven experience leading cross‑functional project teams within a matrix delivery environment.
  • Experience in procurement process, selection and engagement of third-party providers and ongoing relationship management of third-party implementation partner and/or solution provider.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to ensure credibility with senior stakeholders, including the ability to negotiate, influence, persuade and challenge the status quo when required to achieve a successful outcome, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and adapting styles to the person in front of you.
  • Demonstrable experience of line management, coaching or mentoring within a project delivery function.
  • Evidence of a willingness to be flexible to get things over the line, including taking on tasks potentially outside of normal scope or offering to support other teams or management where needed.

What happens next?

Once your application has been submitted and reviewed, our Recruitment team will share the outcome with you by email.

We typically hold two interview stages per vacancy, providing the opportunity to meet two members of the hiring team at each stage. The first stage is usually conducted virtually, with the second stage typically held in person at the office in which the role would be based. However, we strive to remain flexible depending on the requirements of the role or the candidate.

Our strength lies in our differences.

We are a top Stonewall employer, a Valuable 500 member, a signatory of the Race at Work Charter and a proud partner of Neurodiversity in Law. We encourage and value different ideas and styles of thinking. It’s with different perspectives that we’ll find solutions to our clients’ most complex challenges. It’s how we’ll deliver outstanding results today, and tomorrow. We want everybody attending an interview to be comfortable and able to fully demonstrate their experience and talents.
