About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Public Relations Manager to join our marketing team. Reporting to the CMO, the Public Relations Manager will be at the forefront of shaping DataCamp’s narrative in the dynamic world of data and AI. This role is crucial in amplifying DataCamp's voice and establishing DataCamp’s position as a thought leader in AI literacy and workforce upskilling for the AI era.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive PR strategies aligned with DataCamp's business goals.
  • Manage media relations, including pitching stories, responding to inquiries, and building relationships with key journalists and influencers in tech, education, and data science.
  • Craft compelling narratives around DataCamp's products, mission, and impact on data and AI literacy.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to identify and create newsworthy content and thought leadership opportunities.
  • Plan and execute PR campaigns for product launches, partnerships, and company milestones.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on PR performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with product marketing and social media teams to ensure consistent messaging across all channels.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in PR, preferably in tech, edtech, or SaaS industries.
  • Proven track record of successful PR campaigns and media placements.
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to develop data-driven PR strategies. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with international media and understanding global PR trends is a plus.
