About the Role
Fusebox Games is looking for a Senior QA Engineer to take ownership of feature testing and quality assurance across our narrative mobile games, including Love Island: The Game.
In this senior role, your primary focus will be feature quality and release stability. You will own feature testing end-to-end, manage release risks, and ensure high quality standards across iOS and Android builds. Alongside feature testing, you will handle technical content setup and file validation in Unity to keep weekly content updates running smoothly.
What You'll DoFeature QA Ownership & Risk Management

  • Identify and call out technical and release risks early in the development cycle.
  • Build and maintain focused test suites for new features and weekly content drops.

  • Support and mentor junior team members and integrators on QA best practices and testing workflows.

  • Import narrative content, UI, and art assets directly into Unity using our in-house tools and file system workflows.
  • Validate integrated assets and test builds, catching file structure errors, missing dependencies, or broken links early.
  • Identify bottlenecks in asset delivery and help streamline integration workflows.
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years in mobile QA, with at least 3 years testing live iOS and Android games.
  • Senior QA ownership mindset: proven ability to take full ownership of feature quality, spot release risks early, and support junior colleagues.
  • Risk-prioritised testing approach: ability to balance release velocity and quality by focusing deep testing where risk and player impact are highest.
  • Solid Unity experience, particularly around asset integration, file systems, prefabs, and content troubleshooting.
  • Clear understanding of weekly mobile release cycles and store submission processes.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical team members.

  • Experience with Git or SourceTree version control in a live project environment.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted tools for test case generation or bug management.
