Role Overview
- We’re looking for a Senior QA Engineer who will take end-to-end responsibility for testing and quality assurance across client projects. Your mission is to help the team deliver stable, and reliable releases—by ensuring issues are found early, described clearly, and escalated effectively.
- Critical flows (checkout, payments, orders, integrations) don’t slip into production unnoticed.
- Bugs are discovered early and communicated with absolute clarity.
- Regression cycles are efficient and reliable, supported by automation and AI-assisted tools.
- Release decisions are well-informed, with risks clearly surfaced to stakeholders.
You will ensure that:
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and identify gaps early in the process.
- Write well-structured and clear Test Plans, Checklists, and Test Cases.
- Plan and execute functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Test custom features and integrations for bugs and stability.
- Contribute to automation coverage (UI and API) to improve regression efficiency.
- Document defects with clear reproduction steps, impact, and context.
- Perform load and performance testing on high-traffic projects.
- Provide test reports that show the quality of each release.
Requirements
- 5+ years of QA experience (manual + automation).
- Proven experience in e-commerce testing (Magento/Adobe Commerce).
- Strong knowledge of test design techniques, SDLC, and defect lifecycle.
- Solid SQL and data validation skills.
- Good command of Git, Jira, CI/CD pipelines.
- English: Upper-Intermediate+ (able to describe bugs precisely and communicate with clients).
- Experience with performance/load testing tools (JMeter, k6).
- Experience with automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, PHPUnit, or similar)
