Appodeal Publishing is a fast-growing division of Appodeal, focused on helping mobile game developers launch and scale games with strong market potential.
We’re not a service — we’re a strategic product partner. We provide UA, monetization, funding, analytics, and creative support, tailored to each game's unique needs.
We work across genres (not just hyper-casual), and we’re building a lean, high-impact publishing team in Europe — where product quality, game feel, and creative thinking come first.

We’re looking for a Publishing QA / Tech Engineer, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and technical reliability of mobile games published with Appodeal. You’ll test builds, validate SDK integrations, and act as the technical backbone for our publishing pipeline.
This is not just button-clicking QA — it’s a hybrid role combining quality assurance, technical troubleshooting, and publishing operations. You’ll work closely with developers, external partners, and internal teams (Tech, UA, Creative, Analytics) to make sure every game we launch meets high standards of quality, stability, and performance.

Your Responsibilities:

Build & SDK QA
  • Verify iOS and Android builds before release.
  • Test SDK integrations (Appodeal, analytics, ads mediation, attribution, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with store requirements and publishing standards.
Functional & Regression Testing
  • Test new game features, FTUE flows, and monetization elements.
  • Run smoke/regression tests on every update.
  • Identify, log, and track issues through bug-tracking tools.
Technical Support & Automation
  • Support developers and producers with build issues (Unity, Xcode, Android Studio).
  • Maintain and improve automation testing setups where possible.
  • Assist in CI/CD processes and release pipelines.
Publishing & Partner Communication
  • Communicate with external developers (publishing partners) about build quality, SDK issues, and technical requirements.
  • Provide clear, structured QA reports and feedback to client teams.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor during development and pre-launch phases.
Soft Launch & UA Support
  • Prepare and validate builds for soft launches.
  • Ensure proper tracking, attribution, and analytics setup for UA campaigns.
  • Monitor live build performance (stability, crashes, SDK events, ad monetization).
  • Collaborate with UA and Analytics teams to identify product/tech issues affecting performance.
Cross-Team Alignment
  • Document test plans, bug reports, and QA processes.
  • Act as the technical bridge between developers and publishing teams.
  • Provide proactive feedback on build stability and quality risks.
Who You Are:
  • Experienced: 2+ years in QA / Tech role for mobile apps or games.
  • Tech-savvy: Comfortable with Unity, SDK integrations, and build tools.
  • Detail-oriented: You spot inconsistencies others miss and ensure smooth user experiences.
  • Organized: You can create structured test plans and keep documentation clear.
  • Communicative: Confident in explaining technical findings to developers and publishing partners.
  • Product-aware: You understand how QA and build quality impact UA, retention, monetization, and player experience.
Why Join Appodeal Publishing?
  • Impact: Your work directly shapes the quality of games we publish.
  • Tech + Product Blend: Unique hybrid role between QA, engineering, and publishing.
  • Partner-facing: Collaborate directly with game developers and support them in reaching market success.
  • Lean & Agile Team: Small team, big outcomes. No bureaucracy, just clarity and collaboration.
  • Diverse Portfolio: Work on games across multiple genres and technologies.
  • Growth Environment: Freedom to take ownership, improve processes, and influence publishing standards.

With an outstanding product and a mission that excites and inspires, Appodeal offers a unique opportunity to make an impact while being part of an amazing team.

Join us and help shape the future of mobile app success!
