About the Role

As a Senior Scrum Master, you will play a key leadership role in setting the strategic direction for agile delivery across the Tribe. You will oversee day to day operation, multiple squads, define and implement best practices, and ensure alignment with our broader organisational objectives and best practices.

This role demands strong leadership, a strategic mindset, and the ability to drive transformative change, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement while managing high-level stakeholder relationships. Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Product Enablement to lead the agile delivery strategy, setting best practices and standards across squads to ensure consistent, high-quality outputs.

  • Scrum master for one squad within the tribe and work across the squads ensuring cohesive inter-squad collaboration and alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Support Tribe leadership in driving strategic initiatives, across the organisation to deliver impactful change that enhances value delivery.

  • Lead the Tribe through quarterly and annual business planning ensuring tribe objectives are met.

  • Line management of scrum masters and provide coaching and mentorship to all Tribe members, Product Owners, and squads, fostering leadership development and advanced agile expertise.

  • Define and refine sprint and delivery frameworks, ensuring they support both squad specific and cross-squad priorities effectively.

  • Act as a key point of escalation for complex delivery challenges, removing obstacles and enabling squads to thrive.

  • Promote and embed a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across squads and teams.

  • Establish strategic relationships with stakeholders across the business and external partners, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Maintain and enhance agile management tools, such as Azure DevOps, to ensure quality, consistency, and transparency in delivery processes.

  • Promote innovation, inclusivity and collaboration within squads and across the organisation.

About the Candidate

A pragmatic approach, collaborative spirit, and exceptional influencing skills are crucial to success in this role. You will excel in this role if you:

  • Have a demonstrable track record of leading strategic agile initiatives and managing complex delivery across multiple squads.

  • Possess deep expertise in agile methodologies and the practical application of agile across varied teams and frameworks.

  • Experienced in driving agile adoption within regulated or complex organizations.

  • Have leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.

  • Are a pragmatic problem solver and seek innovative solutions to deliver value outcome

  • Excel in high-level stakeholder management and strategic communication.

  • Show strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a flexible and pragmatic approach to challenges.

  • Are committed to fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration.

  • Possess advanced knowledge of agile tools and practices, including maintaining robust frameworks and systems like Azure DevOps
