About the role

The Senior Social Media Manager will lead the strategic development and execution of social media for Brew Digital and its parent company, The Adaptavist Group (TAG), including brands such as Adaptavist, Scriptrunner, Upscale, Kolekti, and Venue.

This role goes beyond day-to-day management—it requires strategic leadership, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration to elevate brand presence, drive engagement, and support business growth. You will oversee both internal brand accounts and external client social media services, ensuring best practices, innovation, and measurable success.

As a senior leader, you will mentor junior team members, contribute to agency growth through client pitches and business development, and act as a key advisor to the Group CMO and Head of Digital Marketing.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop and own the social media strategy for Brew Digital and TAG brands, aligning with business objectives.
  • Lead content planning, campaign ideation, and execution across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Optimise paid and organic social strategies to maximise reach, engagement, and conversions.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, platform updates, and competitor activity to ensure innovation.
  • Manage social media tools and tech stack (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Later, HubSpot).
  • Lead client-facing social media strategy, including audits, proposals, and performance reporting.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Brew Digital’s clients, providing strategic recommendations and expert guidance.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Digital Marketing to expand social media services and contribute to agency revenue growth.
  • Develop case studies and success stories to showcase Brew Digital’s expertise.
  • Mentor and guide junior social media team members, fostering skill development and best practices.
  • Work closely with creative, PR, and performance marketing teams to ensure cohesive campaigns.
  • Partner with the Group CMO and TAG marketing leads to align social strategy with broader initiatives.
  • Define and track KPIs (engagement, growth, conversions, ROI) across all accounts.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports with actionable insights.
  • A/B test content strategies and refine approaches based on data.

What we're looking for

  • Experienced in social media management, including leading teams or projects in a senior capacity (agency experience is a plus).
  • Demonstrated success in developing and delivering effective and impactful social strategies for B2B and/or B2C brands.
  • Expertise in social media analytics, paid social advertising, and reporting tools.
  • Supportive leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, delegate, and guide team performance.
  • Great client relationship skills, including presenting ideas, offering strategic guidance, and managing expectations.
  • Deep understanding of platform algorithms, trends, and best practices.
  • Experience working with C-suite stakeholders and aligning social strategy with business goals.

A few nice to haves

  • Experience in a digital marketing agency or fast-growth tech environment.
  • Knowledge of PR, influencer marketing, and employer branding on social.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian products or other SaaS/tech platforms.
  • Basic design/video editing skills (Canva, Adobe Premiere, CapCut).
  • Experience with community management and advocacy programs.
