Role Purpose

The role is responsible for ensuring marketing programs are activated in the most effective and efficient way in region, tailoring messaging, content and channel strategy as vital to accommodate regional needs, developing and handling a comprehensive marketing program to support sales and retention objectives, working closely to deliver overall marketing program locally. The role needs to deploy in the efficient marketing mix, delivering maximum return on investment aligned with core business priorities.

The Senior Specialist will work closely with Sales and Account Management and Global Marketing & Communications teams to deliver comprehensive marketing for the local business, which holistically combines thought leadership content, media initiatives, advertising, events, and digital approaches.

What you'll be doing:

  • Interlock with Sales team and Central Marketing Teams to build effective and impactful local marketing campaigns

  • Localisation of global campaigns and core programs to accommodate market nuances

  • Resolve how to activate the LSEG brand and its solutions in the most impactful way in the region, infusing the brand and values into every marketing initiative

  • Utilise the full marketing mix to plan and implement demand generation marketing campaigns that drive awareness, interest, consideration and ultimately purchase of LSEG propositions and products

  • Leverage effective partnerships with cross-functional teams including strategy, content, digital, events and external partners to deliver high quality marketing programs

  • Validated experience working with sales teams and supporting programs to drive return on investment

  • Run budget and effectively improve return on investment of marketing strategies by regularly reporting on the success of activities, and using data to make decisions

What you'll bring:

  • Solid understanding of marketing campaign planning and execution including events, webinars, and other marketing mix within matrixed Financial services, technology or software business

  • Experience using key martech including Eloqua, Workfront, Adobe Express

  • Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced and matrixed team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organisational requirements

  • Ability to consistently produce results on time and within budget

  • Strong oral, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and communicate complex information to all levels of the organization

  • Hands-on, gets-things-done approach

  • Familiarity with the latest trends, technologies and marketing methodologies
