Role Snapshot

Ready to lead where creativity, SEO strategy and automation meet? As our Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll manage a team of five and own our SEO and other services endtoend - delivering measurable growth for some of the biggest names in US TV & entertainment. You’ll shape our service offering, standardise processes, govern the tool stack and budgets, and use AIpowered workflows to turn insight into impact - on time, on brief, and beyond expectations.
Who You Are

This role is perfect for someone experienced in guiding internal teams and clients alike:

✅ Meticulously organised with exceptional time management and attention to detail - nothing slips through the cracks
✅ A creative problem‑solver who thinks outside the box and prioritises a brilliant client experience, even under pressure
✅ Proven end‑to‑end ownership of technical, on‑page and content SEO and hands‑on with common SEO/analytics tools (e.g., Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Lighthouse)
✅ Experiencing managing people, including hiring, training, 1:1s and performance reviews
✅ Pro with collaborative workflow tools (Airtable, FigJam) and quick to master new ones
✅ Tech‑curious with an aptitude for learning creative and technical processes - comfortable experimenting with AI to streamline and elevate workflows
✅ A clear, confident communicator - concise in writing, credible in the room, and client‑calm under fire
✅ A prioritisation pro who delivers to deadlines without compromising quality
✅ A self‑starter with a high work ethic, ownership mindset, and follow‑through

If this sounds like you, you’ll thrive here - we value outcomes, curiosity, and a growth mindset as much as experience.
Who We Are

At Storm Ideas, we supercharge the digital presence of some of the biggest names in US TV and entertainment. Since 2008, our international team has delivered bold, forward-thinking solutions for globally recognised clients.

Whether we're building innovative products, producing high-impact social content, or designing smarter ways for our partners to work—we’re right at the cutting edge of creativity, technology, and automation.

Our vision relies on people who are curious about this technology and excited to take on this challenge!
What You’ll Make Happen

  • Lead and grow a team of five across SEO, editorial content, digital programming and analytics.
  • Own SEO strategy end‑to‑end (technical, on‑page, content and measurement) and ensure best practice is embedded across clients’ websites.
  • Be accountable for delivery quality, timelines and client satisfaction.
  • Own analytics and reporting (KPIs, dashboards, reports, insight cadence).
  • Evolve and package our services; support proposals and pricing.

What you need to know about the Edinburgh Tech Scene

From traditional pubs and centuries-old universities to sleek shopping malls and glass-paneled office buildings, Edinburgh's architecture reflects its unique blend of history and modernity. But the fusion of past and future isn't just visible in its buildings; it's also shaping the city's economy. Named the United Kingdom's leading technology ecosystem outside of London, Edinburgh plays host to major global companies like Apple and Adobe, as well as a growing number of innovative startups in fields like cybersecurity, finance and healthcare.
