Join our Growth Marketing team as part of a small, specialist SEO group and put your SEO experience to work boosting our visibility across Google, Bing and emerging AI‑powered search experiences such as Google AI Overviews, AI Mode and ChatGPT results. You’ll own day‑to‑day keyword research, on‑page optimisation, rank reporting and technical audits, using smart AI tools to uncover insights and convert them into measurable organic growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct keyword research and keep an up‑to‑date keyword‑to‑URL map.
- Optimise on‑page elements (titles, meta descriptions, headings and alt text) for new and existing pages.
- Refresh outdated content and add or repair internal links to improve crawl depth and user experience.
- Track keyword rankings and organic KPIs, providing concise weekly updates.
- Monitor competitor SERPs and new SERP features to identify quick wins.
- Support Digital PR in earning high‑quality backlinks and brand mentions.
- Monitor AI Overviews and other zero‑click results, sharing insights with the team.
- Fact‑check AI‑assisted drafts to ensure accuracy, brand tone and alignment with editorial guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- 3 or more years of hands‑on SEO experience, including 1+ year exposure to AI search or automation.
- Experience optimizing sites with large amount of URLs.
- Confidence in writing SEO‑friendly page titles and meta descriptions.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS, and an understanding of basic JavaScript rendering issues.
- Proficiency with GA4, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog or similar tools.
- Comfortable using generative‑AI tools (for example, ChatGPT) to speed up research and drafting.
- Able to communicate clearly in writing and speech, turning data into actionable next steps.
