Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Service Transition Analyst to support the successful delivery of IT hardware and services across the organization. This role is critical to ensuring smooth transitions from technology request through to fulfillment and installation, supporting internal hardware lifecycle processes, and maintaining asset and procurement accuracy.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
PCStore Order Management
  • Manage end-to-end lifecycle of PCStore technology orders from initiation to installation.
  • Coordinate with end users, vendors, and IT support teams to ensure timely delivery and setup of hardware.
  • Track and document order status, delivery timelines, and completion.

Mobile Device & Services Administration
  • Oversee the provisioning, assignment, and deactivation of Optimum cellular devices and services for employees and contractors.
  • Maintain records of active devices, plans, and service agreements.
  • Liaise with the carrier to resolve service issues and manage billing or account changes.

IT Asset Management
  • Maintain accurate records in the IT Asset Management (ITAM) database for employee-assigned hardware.
  • Ensure asset tags, ownership, status, and location information are kept up to date.
  • Assist with periodic inventory audits and data integrity checks.

Employee Hardware Reclaim Support
  • Coordinate the retrieval and processing of IT hardware from departing employees and contractors.
  • Work closely with HR, facilities, and IT support teams to ensure seamless transitions and hardware recovery.

Procurement & Requisition Oversight
  • Create and manage IT purchase orders, requisitions, and approvals through Oracle and other procurement systems.
  • Track the status of open requisitions, follow up with vendors and stakeholders as needed.
  • Ensure all procurement processes are compliant with internal controls and budget guidelines.

Qualifications
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in IT service delivery, asset management, procurement, or service transition roles.
  • Familiarity with ITAM tools and asset lifecycle management.
  • Experience with Oracle or similar enterprise procurement systems.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a mid-to-large enterprise IT environment.
Knowledge of ITIL principles and lifecycle service management.
Experience managing vendor relationships and service contracts.
