We are seeking an experienced SharePoint Infrastructure Administrator with comprehensive expertise in the Microsoft technology stack including SharePoint Server, Windows Server, and SQL Server to join our UniQue Managed Services and Automation team.

This role requires deep technical knowledge of enterprise infrastructure design, implementation, and management, with a focus on SharePoint environments and their underlying platform dependencies.

For the SharePoint Infrastructure Administrator / Systems Engineer position we expect you to be involved with:

  • SharePoint Administration: Install, configure, upgrade, and manage farms; oversee services, permissions, and authentication; optimize performance and capacity.
  • Windows Server Infrastructure: Design and support server environments; manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, clustering, networking, and security policies.
  • SQL Server Administration: Maintain databases supporting SharePoint; implement high availability, backup/recovery, performance tuning, and security measures.
  • Integration & Automation: Develop PowerShell scripts; implement monitoring, patching, disaster recovery, and compliance strategies across systems.
  • Performance Optimization: Conduct end-to-end performance analysis; implement caching, load balancing, and troubleshooting for complex, multi-tier environments.

RequirementsWhat do you need to succeed in this position?

Your experience, skill set and qualifications are going to help you succeed in this position, moving forward. We would like you to have:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
    • Microsoft certifications such as SharePoint Server Associate, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, Azure Database Administrator, Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator, or MCSE.
    • 3+ years in SharePoint Server administration (installations, upgrades, migrations, hybrid deployments).
    • 3+ years in Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022).
    • 3+ years in SQL Server administration (2016/2017/2019/2022).
    • Deep knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, IIS, and Windows networking.
    • Strong background in virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware).
    • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
    • Familiarity with SharePoint Online / Microsoft 365 hybrid scenarios.
    • Strong SQL skills in backup/recovery, HA/DR, performance tuning, and security.
    • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple complex projects independently.
    • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and change management.
    • Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders.
