Job Responsibilities:
Essential Experience:
  • Qualified to a minimum HNC level or equivalent in Manufacturing /Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in simulation processes and automation environments
  • Good working knowledge of Process Simulate
  • Good understanding of robot program flow and basic programming theories
  • Knowledge of ISO 10218-1 and ISO 10218-2 robotic safety standards and how they apply
  • Experience in robotic spot welding, mig welding and material handling cells
  • Experience liaising with customers on the entire simulation life cycle on both a technical and non-technical level
  • Computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel and Autocad
  • Proven ability and willingness to train and lead others

Desirable Experience:
  • At least 3 years' experience in programming robots on the shop floor
  • Previous Automotive T1 experience
  • Experience using robotic manufacturers native software; RobotStudio, Kuka.Sim, RoboGuide
  • Good understanding of robotic code; ABB, Kuka, Fanuc
  • Industry 4.0 knowledge
  • Mafact knowledge
