Toast is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer II to help build new Embedded Finance capabilities. Toast is built from the ground up for restaurants with over one hundred thousand restaurants using Toast (now including hundreds in Ireland!). As a result, we are well-positioned to provide financial services such as bank accounts, debit and credit cards tailored specifically to restaurants. We need your help to grow our platform and add the next generation of these products.
About this roll* (Responsibilities)
- Work on a small team developing new products and features
- Review code to ensure technical implementations meet functional requirements
- Collaborate with other teams across Toast
- Gain an understanding and contribute to team discussions on product features, design, marketing and strategy
Do you have the right ingredients*? (Requirements)
- 3+ years experience as a full stack software engineer
- 3+ years experience in Java or Kotlin
- 3+ experience in Javascript/Typescript and ReactJS
- Strong experience with system design and architecture principals
- Passionate about making users happy and seeing people use your product in the wild
**This is a hybrid role requireing a minimum of 2 days per week in the Dublin office**
