Location: Edinburgh, Hybrid.

Computershare are currently looking to recruit a Software Developer to work closely with the Technical Delivery Lead as part of our Issuer Services business.

You will lead and grow a high performing engineering team that consistently delivers excellent outcomes for the Issuer Services Investor Engagement business.

This position sits within a newly established Edinburgh based team. The team will create the next generation of customer experiences on a unified platform that brings together multiple businesses and product capabilities to create a market leading digital experience that delivers new and compelling value for customers.

A role you will love

We are seeking a Software Developer who will be able to collaborate closely with stakeholders to design, build, test, and deploy high-quality software solutions that meet expectations and deliver tangible business value.

You will work as part of a cross‑functional technical development team to deliver new and enhanced capabilities across a portfolio of applications and supporting frameworks.

Other key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain full stack applications using React, C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, and SQL.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate with Azure services, FIGMA design systems, Storybook components, and .NET APIs. 

  • Contribute to the architecture and design of a scalable tools platform that supports rapid development and deployment. 

  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Ensure code quality through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and best practices. 

  • Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions to improve developer productivity.

  • Contribute to development of standards, policies and organisational structure so that others can work both independently and collaboratively within your team and with key stakeholders.

  • Communicate effectively with a variety of technical and non-technical audiences to: share knowledge and ideas; provide updates; influence; challenge; and take on feedback.

You’ll be someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with modern technologies, and contributing to a high-impact platform.

 

Other key skills required for the role include:

 

  • Hands-on full stack engineer with experience in React, C#, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework and SQL. 
  • Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (preferably Azure). 
  • Experience integrating with design systems and tools such as FIGMA and Storybook is a strong plus. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. 
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
