The Role
As a Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of a squad of software engineers and SDETs. You will collaborate with the engineering manager, architects, and the lead to implement technical strategies and direction. You will work with a stack that includes Rails and Postgres, with containerized microservices in Kubernetes (k8s). This role operates in a fast-paced environment with a focus on high quality and on-time delivery.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions
- Contribute to technical discussions and provide input to the squad
- Ensure the implementation of best practices in coding, testing, and deployment
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product features and improvements
- Mentor and support junior engineers in the squad
- Utilize Jira for task management and tracking
- Work within a Scrum team to follow Agile methodologies
- Adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
- Provide high-level estimations for project planning
- Participate in roadmap refinement and planning sessions
- Support operational escalations and ensure timely resolution
- Take ownership of tasks and contribute to shaping delivery
What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering
- Strong experience with .NET Knowledge in SQL Server
1 year of expierence in Angular or React - Strong
- Basic Knowledge in containerized microservices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts and solutions
- Experience in supporting technical projects and providing strategic input
- A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends
- Familiarity with Jira and Agile methodologies
- Understanding of SDLC processes and best practices
- Ability to provide high-level estimations and contribute to roadmap refinement
- A go-getter attitude with the ability to work autonomously and shape delivery
