The Role
As a Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of a squad of software engineers and SDETs. You will collaborate with the engineering manager, architects, and the lead to implement technical strategies and direction. You will work with a stack that includes Rails and Postgres, with containerized microservices in Kubernetes (k8s). This role operates in a fast-paced environment with a focus on high quality and on-time delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions
  • Contribute to technical discussions and provide input to the squad
  • Ensure the implementation of best practices in coding, testing, and deployment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver product features and improvements
  • Mentor and support junior engineers in the squad
  • Utilize Jira for task management and tracking
  • Work within a Scrum team to follow Agile methodologies
  • Adhere to the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes
  • Provide high-level estimations for project planning
  • Participate in roadmap refinement and planning sessions
  • Support operational escalations and ensure timely resolution
  • Take ownership of tasks and contribute to shaping delivery

 

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Strong experience with .NET Knowledge in SQL Server
    1 year of expierence in Angular or React
  • Strong
  • Basic Knowledge in containerized microservices
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts and solutions
  • Experience in supporting technical projects and providing strategic input
  • A passion for continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends
  • Familiarity with Jira and Agile methodologies
  • Understanding of SDLC processes and best practices
  • Ability to provide high-level estimations and contribute to roadmap refinement
  • A go-getter attitude with the ability to work autonomously and shape delivery
  • Focus on high quality and on-time delivery
