As a Software Engineering Lead. The position is primarily based in Pittsburgh, PA, Birmingham, AL, Cleveland, OH, and Dallas, TX. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.
General:
• Software developer as part of an agile team
• Participate in Agile ceremonies
• Work closely with Business Systems Analyst and Quality Engineers
• Participate in testing and deployment events
• Some understanding of debit card transaction processing would be helpful
Technical Skills:
• Microservice development using Sprint Boot
• Java
• MongoDB
• Jenkins pipeline
• Openshift Platform
• Jira for release management and story writing
Job Description
- Creates and leads the technical design and development of software solutions.
- Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required.
- Facilitates complex problem resolution.
- Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software.
- Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance business initiatives and capabilities.
