What you'll do as an iOS Software Engineer
- Build high-quality iOS applications that bring joy and reliability to millions of users.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and delivery of new features using Swift and SwiftUI.
- Write maintainable, testable, and efficient code following modern development practices and DraftKings' engineering standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members-product managers, designers, and backend engineers-to understand requirements and deliver features that align with user and business goals.
- Participate in code reviews and provide thoughtful feedback to peers, ensuring high-quality code and shared team learning.
- Engage in continuous learning-soliciting feedback, applying best practices, and deepening your understanding of iOS technologies and system architecture.
What you'll bring
- 1-3 years of experience in iOS software development.
- Solid understanding of iOS app architecture patterns and mobile SDLC processes.
- Familiarity with code versioning tools (e.g., Git), Xcode tooling, and automated testing practices.
- A keen attention to code quality and performance optimization.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within an Agile team.
