Department OverviewOur world class Video Management Software allows Enterprise customers to monitor all aspects of security at their sites. From integrating video analytics in Windows applications to making highly scalable cloud microservices - our engineers have opportunities to work with a very diverse and exciting range of products.

Job Description

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with talented engineers to build high performing teams. A successful candidate will have strong coaching and motivational skills to enable highly technical teams to achieve results in a fast paced environment. We want engaging leaders to build great teams that can then build great products!

What this role involves:

  • Leading and building high performing teams of software developers from graduate to senior level.

  • Coaching, mentoring and encouraging career development.

  • Working with the teams to promote engineering best practices.

  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

  • Working closely with the product team to champion the balance between short and long term objectives.

  • Collaborating with the wider organization to achieve our strategic objectives.


Basic Requirements

  • Experience in leading people and software engineering teams.

  • Track record of your teams delivering on time.

  • A natural ability to inspire and motivate.

  • Drive for continual learning.

  • Exposure to Scrum/LeSS or other Agile frameworks.

  • Knowledge of modern software development lifecycles.

  • Mastery in any programming language (C#, C++, TypeScript, …).

  • Lead by example, exceed expectations and go above and beyond.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
