Job Description

As a Software Tester, you’ll ensure our global payment systems operate flawlessly, delivering seamless experiences for millions of customers.

The Payments Delivery Stream manages the complex logic powering our global transactions. This team ensures every deposit, withdrawal, and integration operates with precision, security, and reliability.

You will join this team to champion quality, using AI-driven tools and automation to test intricate payment flows. This role involves deep technical analysis, from API testing to validating compliance controls, ensuring our software remains robust and scalable.

With the use of cutting-edge technology and AI, you will focus on testing complex payment logic, third-party provider integrations and compliance controls across our site and back-office tooling.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the company’s hybrid work from home policy.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of payments principles, including deposits, withdrawals, and payment method integrations
  • Proficiency in API testing using Gherkin syntax and technical documentation interpretation
  • Experience with automation tools like Playwright and AI-assisted test creation
  • Strong sense of test ownership with the ability to define and execute comprehensive test strategies
  • Ability to prioritise and react to changing requirements with a positive attitude
  • Proactive approach to personal development and knowledge retention
  • Ability to work collaboratively or independently on project requirements
  • Analytical mindset with high attention to detail
  • Interest in emerging technologies, specifically AI agents

Additional Information

  • Drive an ‘AI/Automated first’ approach by verifying and creating Agentic generated test scope and executables
  • Define and own test strategies, providing accurate estimates and recommending quality-focused approaches
  • Conduct quality testing on Account Management and Onboarding projects
  • Report defects accurately and manage them through to resolution via Jira
  • Shape and improve agentic processes through active feedback loops
  • Communicate testing progress to the project team and escalate issues where necessary
  • Develop product knowledge by liaising with subject matter experts
  • Plan groundbreaking software delivery
  • Build successful relationships across the business to uncover new ideas
  • Maintain a proactive approach to personal development while adapting to changing circumstances
