We're expanding our pre-sales technical team to support growing demand across EMEA. You'll join a small, mostly US-based solutions engineering team as our regional technical expert—partnering with sales to help prospects understand how Anaconda's AI and data science platform solves their toughest problems. With recent acquisitions expanding our product portfolio, you'll play a central role in bringing new capabilities to existing customers and winning new accounts across the region.
What You'll Do:
- Lead technical discovery and solution design conversations with prospects and existing customers across EMEA sales cycles
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations that connect Anaconda's platform capabilities to specific customer business challenges and technical requirements
- Partner with account executives to develop winning strategies for complex deals, providing the technical depth that differentiates Anaconda in competitive evaluations
- Create reusable demonstration environments, videos, and technical content that accelerate deal velocity and support regional marketing initiatives
- Serve as the voice of EMEA customers to product and engineering teams, sharing feedback that shapes roadmap priorities and identifying opportunities for prototypes or proof-of-concepts
- Build and maintain relationships across sales, customer success, support, marketing, and product teams to ensure seamless customer experiences from evaluation through implementation
- Navigate multiple concurrent opportunities independently, prioritizing your time across active deals, customer relationship building, and internal collaboration
- Technical win rate in EMEA sales opportunities where you provide pre-sales support
- Deal size expansion through identification of additional use cases and products that address customer needs
- Sales cycle velocity improvements measured through time-to-close on deals with your technical engagement
- Regional pipeline development through effective qualification and technical discovery that advances opportunities
- Quality of customer handoffs to post-sales teams that set accounts up for successful implementation and expansion
- 3+ years of customer-facing experience in technical roles such as solutions engineering, sales engineering, technical consulting, or customer success
- Hands-on technical experience working with tools and workflows in AI, data science, or data engineering—sufficient to credibly demonstrate technical concepts and understand customer architectures
- Based in EMEA with ability to work across regional time zones and travel occasionally to customer sites
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value for diverse audiences from practitioners to executives
- Experience managing multiple stakeholder relationships simultaneously and prioritizing work independently with minimal oversight

- You've worked directly with open-source tools or contributed to open-source communities, giving you insight into how developers evaluate and adopt platforms
- You bring experience from consulting or customer-facing roles where you regularly jumped into unfamiliar technical domains and quickly became effective
- You have hands-on familiarity with Anaconda's tools or similar platforms in the Python ecosystem for data science and AI development
