Job Responsibilities:
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Mechanical:
Must have hands on experience with trouble shooting of pneumatic controls, cylinders, valves and make necessary repairs
Ability to replace gearboxes, bearings, drive shafts, sprockets, and drive chains
Be able to operator lathe, milling machine and Tig welding equipment
Have the ability to make mechanical repairs to fixtures and assembly aids
Electrical:
Read electrical schematic drawings and control logic programming
Knowledge of PLC and controls using Allen Bradley, and Control Logix
Hands on experience with conveyance systems and controls
Ability to trouble shoot electrical failures and make necessary repairs to motors, contactors, relays, power supplies, fuses, frequency drives, PLC cards, RF readers , inductive and capacitive proximity sensors .
Understand Device NET
MES (Manufacturing Execution System):
Ability to trouble shoot and interface PLC Logic with MES control systems
A demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft and other manufacturing related software.
QUALIFICATIONS:• University degree or College diploma in related field, certification in Industrial Electricity or Electronics required or a minimum of 8 years' experience in Industrial Electricity. Experience in Hydraulics / Pneumatics and Fabricating is preferred. Knowledge of manufacturing, maintenance operations and related processes with 5 years progressive experience in an automotive (JIT) Tier 1 manufacturing environment.• Must have good leadership skills and excellent interpersonal skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently and strong project management skills
