Position Summary:

The Sr. Visual Designer is a major driver for the creative team, actively creating across work types and project initiatives, while also pushing the exploratory and strategic even further. As a more experienced designer, the incumbent brings a broader perspective to the work. This is a multi-faceted and multi-disciplinary role, bringing a greater awareness of the balances and audiences involved.
Every position within Inmar Creative is a strategic and leadership position, and Sr. Visual Designers form a bridge between executional and overall leadership and strategy – creating the work, but inherently understanding its context more fully. This role demonstrates advanced exploratory skills while executing what we need to achieve.
Primary Accountabilities:

  • Solve complex user-experience challenges through gorgeous, simple and clear design

  • Fluent execution across a range of project types – print, responsive web, presentation, graphics, social, etc. - plus, demonstrated willingness and ability to add / learn new skills quickly and easily

  • Be a total team player from strategy and vision through execution

  • Present your work effectively, articulately communicating design rationale to stakeholders

  • Actively participate in the give-and-take of an iterative design process

  • Empower fellow creatives by providing resources, feedback and inspiration to help streamline and elevate the work of those around you and be open to the ways they can do the same for you

  • Advocate for user-centered design, experience optimization and product improvement

  • Advanced ideation and concepting skills with a refined creative perspective and approach

  • Push the boundaries visually, disrupt the marketplace in both concept and design and try new ideas whenever possible

  • Focused on supporting and inspiring those around you within the team and Inmar at large.

  • Create visual solutions for a full range of brand and sales and/or product initiatives

  • Create holistically new designs and "flow" based on existing work

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors preferably in design or similar field of study required

  • 7-9 years 6-8 years of design experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position required

  • Strong UX design principles with rock-solid visual design skills

  • Mastery of design, editing and motion tools such as, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere, etc..

  • Mastery of the tools that our sales channels use (or at least a solid knowledge of them) such as, Powerpoint, Google Docs, Etc.

  • Knowledge of photography a HUGE plus

  • Knowledge of animation / editing principles a HUGE plus

  • Experimentation and Knowledge of AI Tools a HUGE plus

  • Willingness to work on a full range of projects

  • Awesome spoken and written communication skills

  • Ability to work on an ego-free, highly collaborative and cross-functional team

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic corporate environment

  • Strong sense of humor and willing smile are also BIG pluses

  • Curious nature and the desire to explore and learn
