Staff Accountant (Maternity cover)

The Crown Is Yours
As a Staff Accountant, you'll manage the monthly close for one of our subsidiaries and oversee day-to-day accounting operations that keep our financials running smoothly. You'll take the lead on payables processing and work closely with internal and external partners to resolve issues and support cross-functional needs. Your work will drive key financial workflows and help maintain the integrity of our reporting and systems.
What You'll Do

• Prepare all reconciliations for the month-end close for one of our subsidiaries.
• Create and post journal entries during the month-end closing process.
• Coordinate with third parties regarding payment status and work with the Treasury team to ensure timely payments.
• Monitor the flow of invoices through our accounts payable system and address critical issues with internal stakeholders.
• Review the AP Subledger and ensure all invoices are appropriately classified, approved, and posted.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience is preferred.
• An extremely organized and detail-oriented approach with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle large volumes of data with a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency with advanced functions in Excel.
• Knowledge of NetSuite Accounting Software or Couple is considered a plus.
