About the Role:Rubrik is looking for a strategic, experienced Staff Product Manager with a track record of driving success and innovation. The Product Manager will lead the strategy and execution for one of the most critical parts of Rubrik’s product line: The Data Life Cycle (DLC) system. This core system is the heart of Rubrik’s award-winning cyber resilience offering. Via DLC, users configure what data is protected, how it is protected, when protection happens, etc. This crucial system underpins over $1 billion in Annual Recurring Revenue. The Product Manager will combine AI features, customer research, and innovative strategy to build the next generation of DLC.
What You’ll Do:- Own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution of Rubrik’s Data Life Cycle system.
- Meet with customers and prospects to understand their problems and build solutions that they will love.
- Research and understand the broader IT ecosystem that Rubrik’s products fit into, including regulatory, infosec, and financial considerations.
- Perform market/competitive analysis, prioritize product features and clearly articulate decisions and tradeoffs.
- Represent Rubrik in front of customers in both pre-sale and post-sale situations
- Collaborate with Rubrik’s Design and Engineering teams to rapidly create high-quality solutions that will endure for many years to come.
- Interface with all of Rubrik’s Product Management teams, understanding their needs and building requisite capabilities into the DLC system.
- Communicate strategy and roadmaps to the broader company, building alignment around key initiatives.
- 8+ years of product leadership experience, demonstrating strong planning, communication, organizational, and influence skills.
- 13+ years of overall work experience.
- Prior Product Management experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Enterprise IT infrastructure
- Data backup & recovery solutions
- Cyber security
- Ability to understand complex technical systems at a deep level.
- Creativity to find new and better ways to solve complex customer problems.
- Business acumen and the ability to build business cases, communicate effectively and influence others.
- Thorough knowledge of software development methods and processes.
- Ability to be self-motivated towards the achievement and measurement of established goals.
- Aptitude to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
- Familiarity with modern AI tooling and techniques, including agents, context engineering, fine tuning, and evaluations.
