We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join our Cloud Browser Isolation/ Data Path Team. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Software Development Engineering, based in Madrid, you will be working remotely and you'll be responsible for:
- Owning the definition, design, implementation, testing, delivery, monitoring, and reliability of multiple core components to ensure optimal browser streaming experiences for customers.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to analyze requirements and develop scalable, secure, and extensible technical solutions for cloud applications.
- Writing high-quality, testable, maintainable, and secure code, while integrating appropriate tests into CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
- Fostering team growth through mentoring and knowledge sharing, maintaining a focus on continuous learning and improvement.
- Taking full ownership of deployed services, including on-call responsibilities, to ensure reliability and minimize production incidents.
- 6+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years dedicated to developing applications for Linux and cloud-based, high-traffic systems.
- Strong coding skills in C++.
- API & HTTP Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs with a solid understanding of the HTTP protocol and request/response lifecycle.
- Familiarity with technologies such as gRPC or WebSockets.
- Strong grasp of system design principles, programming fundamentals, and experience with microservice-based and distributed architectures.
- Proficiency in computer graphics libraries (e.g., OpenGL, Vulkan), GPU driver development, Chromium rendering, browser engines, and modern web technologies such as WebAudio, WebGL, or WebAssembly.
- Expertise in media streaming technologies, low-level networking protocols (TCP, UDP), containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes), and strong coding skills in Rust.
- Familiarity with automation tools for code quality, testing, and CI/CD pipelines to optimize development and deployment processes.
