As part of the Apply With Ease Crew of Home Buying, you will contribute to all aspects of the technology products and services we deliver, from technical strategy and design to coding, deployment, and operation. Our products and services guide Australians through the easiest and fastest home loan application process in the market, providing real-time assessment and the confidence to secure their dream home.

You will be joining our team that supports the Home Buying products on our App. Our mobile team is the largest mobile team in the country, and we are responsible for building Australia’s number one banking App, used by over five million people every day.

You’ll work closely with Product Owners, native iOS and Android engineers, and UX Designers to bring new features to life, keep our systems running smoothly, mentor junior team members, share your ideas, and see them executed.

  • Have solid experience working with iOS or Android technologies

  • Have a strong product mindset and know how to use AI tools effectively in their work. 

  • Have experienced in working collaboratively with team members and cross-functional squads. 

  • Possess strong communication skills, raising concerns or ideas promptly.

  • Are willing to take ownership of tasks, collaborate proactively, and mentor junior team members. 

  • Value teamwork and promote a culture of continuous learning. 

  • Are able to handle different opinions and work towards feasible solutions. 

  • Are open to new challenges, technologies, and tools. 

  

Technical Skills 

We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We don’t expect you to know them all but experience or exposure with some of these (or equivalents) will set you up for success in this team; 

  • Develop robust and secure mobile applications using modern frameworks (e.g., SwiftUI or Jetpack Compose).

  • Proficient in platform-specific tools such as Xcode or Android Studio, with a strong grasp of current mobile development practices.

  • Implement comprehensive testing strategies including unit testingUI testing, and end-to-end automation.

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub ActionsTeamCity, or similar.

  • Demonstrate strong design sensibility and ability to deliver polished user experiences from concept to release.

  • Open to leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cline, or Cursor to enhance productivity.
