Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's servers, networks, and systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Monitor system performance, security, and reliability; troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
- Deploy, configure, and upgrade software and hardware components.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with IT support teams to assist end-users and resolve technical issues.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows), networking, and server management.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with setting up and managing Active Directory
- Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Linux+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) are a plus.
- Familiarity with ISO 27001 procedures would be a plus
