Key Responsibilities
Talend Environment Setup and Administration
- Install, configure, and maintain Talend software.
- Monitor and optimize Talend Remote Engine performance and usage.
- Manage job scheduling, deployment, and monitoring in Talend Management Console (TMC).
System Maintenance and Support
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and regular maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Talend jobs, infrastructure, and dependencies.
Collaboration and Support
- Work closely with data integration teams to ensure Talend jobs are deployed and executed as per requirements.
- Provide technical support to integration developers and operators regarding Talend-related issues.
- Collaborate with IT and database administrators to ensure seamless data flows across systems.
Security and Compliance
- Implement and enforce security measures for Talend systems and data pipelines.
- Maintain compliance with Mondelez organizational policies and industry regulations.
Monitoring and Optimization
- Set up and maintain monitoring tools to ensure the performance and reliability of Talend workflows.
- Analyze and optimize Talend jobs for efficiency and scalability.
Documentation and Training
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for Talend environments, processes, and best practices.
- Train team members on Talend tools and administrative procedures.
Qualifications and Skills
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Certification(s)
- Talend Certification (Administrator and/or Developer)
Technical Skills
- Proven experience with Talend Management Console (TMC) and Talend Studio.
- Familiarity with Talend Data Integration, Big Data, and related modules.
- Proficiency in SQL and database technologies (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.).
- Knowledge of job scheduling tools and concepts (e.g., Autosys, Cron, etc.).
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems and scripting (Shell, Python).
Additional Skills
- Understanding of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data integration concepts.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, Jira).
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
