General/Position Summary
The Tax Department is responsible for global tax accounting, tax compliance, and tax planning for the Company. The International Senior Tax Analyst, reporting to the Senior Tax Director – International, will assist with the preparation/review of direct and indirect tax compliance and reporting for all countries outside North America, working closely with both the direct and indirect tax managers. The role will require a good grasp of financial data and working collaboratively with cross-functional team members, particularly finance.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Supports team in compiling and analysing financial data for direct and indirect compliance
- Proactively , through training and on-the-job learning, develops a deeper understanding of VAT and direct tax systems in key International jurisdictions
- Assists in review and reconciliation of month end tax balances (including use of BlackLine) and monthly/annual tax returns
- Supports treasury processes through management of related tax compliance
Required Education Level
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent, or alternatively ACA/CTA (or equivalent).
Required Experience
Extensive experience in Top 10/corporate in-house tax department or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Knowledge/Skills
• Working knowledge of Excel
• Oracle
• Knowledge of OneSource Tax Provision and OneSource Income Tax
• Prior corporate Accounting/Tax office experience is a strong plus but not required
• Experience with Alteryx and/or Power BI is an advantage, but not essential
