Technical Integrations Manager

Our Professional Services team is expanding, and we’re seeking a talented Technical Integrations Manager to join us. In this role, you’ll develop PowerShell solutions that seamlessly integrate into the ControlUp platform, while also delivering tailored customizations for customers in both presales and post-sales scenarios.

The Role:

ControlUp is building an industry-leading platform to observe, analyze & optimize the digital employee experience, from virtual desktops and applications to physical endpoints. PowerShell script-based solutions are an integral part of ControlUp’s offering, enabling us to rapidly innovate and deliver new functionalities, responding to real-world challenges. We are looking for a Technical Integrations Manager, who is passionate about building products that customers not just use, but love. Your professional background should include demonstrable PowerShell-based solutions for real-world technical challenges.We expect you to lead a team of scripting experts who work in the field and deliver PowerShell-based solutions. As a coordinator, you are responsible for managing the backlog, ensuring the quality of scripts, and continuously increasing the value of our script library. As a scripting expert and key user of ControlUp’s scripting platform, you are expected to introduce improvements that will make our users love it and use it for an ever-growing amount of use cases.

Who we’re looking for:

We are seeking a Technical Integrations Manager with 5+ years of deep PowerShell experience, including Azure API integration knowledge. The candidate should have a customer-focused mindset, the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, and a creative approach to problem-solving. The ideal individual will thrive with light supervision, ability to work remotely, maintain high standards for script quality, and have experience troubleshooting live with customers. Familiarity with Citrix and Horizon API integrations is a plus. Experience in customer facing roles such as support, presales or professional services roles desired. The candidate must be comfortable managing existing script repositories, and reverse-engineering scripts. Individuals who are successful in this role are self-motivated, charismatic problem-solvers that are excited by the prospect of building solutions for customers to help solve varied and complex business and technical challenges faced by IT Operations teams in organizations of all sizes and verticals.

Responsibilities:

• Authoring, code review, and debugging PowerShell scripts to address real-world technical challenges, primarily in the areas of end-user computing and Windows system management
• Managing a team of experts, providing technical guidance and project management for all stages of solution development, from ideation to implementation, delivery, and incremental improvements
• Working cross-functionally to support product enhancement releases by communicating detailed product requirements and specifications to Product Management
• Gathering market, field, and customers feedback, and translating it to optimal product solutions
• Supporting features life-cycle from idea to successful execution and launch by contributing scripts / modules along with any related collateral such as documentation and training
• Maintain a current understanding of industry and technology trends both for ideation and to ensure your solutions remain technically viable
• Work independently and effectively in a team environment
• Support customers through a combination of active listening and consultative investigation techniques to ensure customer needs are well understood
• Contribute to internal technical projects, which can include supporting new product features, benchmarking, troubleshooting and best practices

Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting at least 5 years 
• IT knowledge and background, especially with all aspects of EUC including virtualization technologies, networking and desktop administration
• Understanding of cloud / hybrid cloud technologies
• A real passion for product design and users experience (UX/UI)
• Confident decision-making with the ability to influence internal and external partners
• A roll up the sleeves approach to getting the job done
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation abilities
• Must be fluent in English
• Excellent organizational, note-taking, project management, and time management skills
• Excellent documentation skills
• Ability to work with teams across time zones and flexibility with working hours

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in delivering endpoint management or VDI solutions.
• Hands-on deep technical expertise and experience in IT infrastructure.
• Extensive experience with virtualization products.
• Experience in marketing is an advantage
• Previous experience working with / for SaaS companies
