The Role: How you'll make an impact at Personio

This position can be office-based or hybrid from one of the following cities: Berlin, Munich, Dublin, London or Madrid

This Technical Program Manager will sit in the Data Strategy and Operations team where our mission is to: Drive and Support Cross-functional data programs to enable success at Personio”. This exciting role will help support that mission by working both internally with the rest of the data department to improve our operations and externally with stakeholders on data programs to ensure the job gets done - planning, designing & driving success of programs that tackle our current and future data needs.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • As a TPM your role is to “make sure the job gets done”, you will own all the activities throughout a data program lifecycle to drive this. From gathering requirements to ensuring successful roll out. 

  • You drive and facilitate Data programs and communicate proactively with all stakeholders and teams to share insights, improve collaboration, ensure knowledge sharing, and manage change

  • You develop and track progress on OKRs, follow up with teams and stakeholders, and make sure that they are converging toward the road map and company goals

  • You are a Scrum Master on multiple Data virtual teams, you help the team to prioritize tasks and dependencies as well as manage the sprint progress on Jira

  • You ensure that Personios know how to access & navigate data by running Data Enablement programs 

  • Your first programs will be focused with Self Serve Analytics to upskill Stakeholders on how to use data through multiple training paths including Tableau, Snowflake and Gsheets 

  • You will be the Tableau administrator driving Tableau best practices & trainings across the Data org

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • Experience

    • 3+ years of experience working as a program manager with strong knowledge of data or

    • 3+ years as a hands-on data analyst with strong interest in program management

  • You are proactive, a strong communicator, collaborator, highly organized, great attention to detail, have a strong ability to influence and passionate about Data.  

  • You have Data analysis experience. BI experience (Tableau - preferred, Looker, Power BI) and at least intermediate SQL experience

  • You have a strong understanding of how a data department operates and drives business success (ideally in SaaS)

  • Excellent problem-solving, time management, and tactical thinking skills with an eye for detail, as well as for the big picture

  • Strong knowledge working with Jira to manage multi-team projects and programs, as well as maintaining program transparency and delivering results on time
