DP World are currently recruiting for a Technology Implementation Project Manager who will coordinate with terminal stakeholders and IT teams to implement and enhance the Zodiac TOS and associated applications across Europe region terminals. 


About the Role:

  • Manage major technology projects across the region P&T portfolio with emphasis on projects implementing the suite of DPW global terminal operations solutions. 
  • Coordinate regional and global IT requests and projects to ensure synchronized efforts and alignment with the global strategy.  Liaise with Global Technology teams and Business Unit (BU) stakeholders to coordinate projects and information exchange.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies.
  • Review projects to ensure clear project definition and scope; realistic schedules and budgets; and well-defined deliverables and resources required to meet project requirements. 
  • Work with BU subject matter experts (SMEs) and group technology teams to define business processes incorporating standardized best practices, where possible.
  • Work with technical teams responsible for product development to translate business requirements into configurable functionality in product solutions.
  • Participate in project and steering committee reviews with the business to ensure effective and efficient IT projects and services deployment.
  • Deliver projects through effective financial oversight to work within tolerances and achieve value for money expended. Support business case preparation.
  • Ensure service suppliers meet service level agreements and implement projects within the required timelines and necessary levels of quality.
  • Identify and manage risk, determine appropriate courses of action on moderately complex issues relating to business operation or strategy.
  • Gather and analyze information from BU IT and business SMEs and teams across the organization to make logical recommendations and decisions.
  • Provide direction based on past experiences and best practices.
  • Clarify and interpret the requests of business units to understand their core needs, while confirming an understanding of the objectives and clarifying how potential changes will impact the organization.
  • Assess the value and potential impact of solutions or alternatives including customer impact and cost implications.
  • Coordinate with terminal stakeholders and IT teams to implement and enhance the Zodiac TOS and associated applications across Europe region terminals.
  • Develop and manage project plans, monitor progress, and support reporting to senior management.
  • Support coordination and quality assurance of deliverables from local and global teams.
  • Identify risks and assist in developing mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business users.
  • Support testing, training, and go-live planning activities.
  • Track and manage project documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards.
  • Support resource coordination, issue escalation, and problem resolution during project execution.

Your Key Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field 
  • Project management certification is an asset
  • 3–5 years of experience managing or coordinating IT projects in a logistics, maritime, or terminal operations environment
  • Experience using Marine Terminal Operating system(s), including implementation projects involving integration with external applications. Experience with Navis N4 TOS is preferred.
  • Experience in co-ordinating projects across multiple sites and/or with multiple partners
  • Strong understanding of, and solid experience with, all major aspects of business system implementation such as analysis, design, development, and deployment.
  • Management, leadership skills and experience working with both centralized and remote technology teams
  • Project management methodologies and tools
  • Strong documentation and stakeholder management experience 
  • Experience building and maintaining strong working relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
