As a Solutions Analyst in the Western Europe IT Outsourcing team, you will partner with business lines and stakeholders to monitor and oversee technology services outsourced to inter-affiliate and third-party vendors. You will ensure compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements, address deviations, and contribute to the firm's growth by supporting high-priority initiatives. In this role, you will develop your leadership, management, and communication skills while fostering a culture of compliance and operational excellence.
Job responsibilities
  • Monitor and oversee outsourced technology services to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
  • Partner with business lines and stakeholders to assess and address regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate management and monitoring of supplier performance for internal and external technology engagements.
  • Identify and raise risks associated with technology outsourcing, managing action plans to resolution.
  • Ensure cloud activities comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and report management information (KRIs/KPIs) for IT outsourcing to the Legal Entity as required.
  • Deliver timely, high-quality, risk-based reporting with solid data and evidence.
  • Contribute to and participate in internal and external audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure appropriate processes, roles, and SLAs are in place for IT governance.
  • Deputise for the Head of IT Outsourcing in meetings, committees, and forums as needed.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through continuous learning and industry engagement.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Strong understanding of local regulations, including BaFin and EBA guidelines.
  • Proven experience in IT outsourcing and regulatory compliance within the financial industry.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver clear messages to senior management.
  • Experience working in regional, cross-functional teams and engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Project management, stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing skills with a track record of successful delivery.
  • Ability to contribute to audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, manage, and mitigate risks in technology outsourcing.
  • Experience developing and reporting management information (KRIs/KPIs).
  • Ability to prioritise and deliver high-quality, evidence-based reporting.
  • Sound judgment, integrity, and commitment to protecting the company, customers, and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience with cloud compliance in regulated environments.
  • Prior experience deputising for senior leaders or representing teams in forums.
  • Advanced knowledge of IT governance frameworks and best practices.
  • Professional certifications in project management, risk management, or IT compliance.
  • Experience working with third-party and inter-affiliate technology vendors
  • Multilingual skills or experience working in multicultural environments.
