About This Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Training Manager to lead and oversee the delivery of high-quality ground and simulator training programs for our organization. This position requires a strong commitment to operational excellence, adherence to standards, and effective team management to ensure compliance and success in all training-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

Operations:

  • Ensure the safe and efficient delivery of ground and Flight Simulation Training Device (FSTD) training for assigned type-specific classrooms and FSTDs.

  • Collaborate with Account Executives, Scheduling, Regulatory, and Standards teams to facilitate the compliant and seamless delivery of all training events.

Training and Standards:

  • Conduct quarterly Standards meetings to drive continuous improvement in instructor standardization and maintain compliance.

  • Ensure training adheres strictly to approved Operations and Training manuals, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and syllabi, in partnership with Lead Instructors.

  • Support Quality Assurance by assisting in the evaluation and oversight of instructor performance.

  • Work closely with the technical team to ensure simulator data and customer-specific material are up to date.

  • Collaborate with the Training Standards and Global Program Leads to ensure courseware is current and relevant.

  • Provide instructors with the tools and resources needed to access regulatory, network, and local training materials.

  • Develop and oversee instructor training plans, ensuring all instructors meet Initial and Recurrent training requirements.

  • Maintain full authorization and qualifications for all instructors in the assigned fleet(s).

Administration:

  • Manage and maintain an adequate number of qualified instructors to meet training demands.

  • Optimize the mix of full-time, part-time, and freelance instructors to ensure resource flexibility and efficiency.

  • Ensure a minimum of two full-time instructors are authorized as examiners for each regulatory authority as needed.

  • Oversee instructor and examiner training records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

  • Work with the Training Administration team to maintain accurate, up-to-date client training records.

Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of EASA, FAA, GCAA, GACA, CAAC and other aviation regulators and regulations

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Possesses above average verbal and written communication abilities

  • Demonstrates proficient computer skills and internet applications

  • Continuously drives toward process improvement and customer/client satisfaction

Desirable

  • Holds or held an Air Transport License

  • Previous experience as an instructor, or equivalent

  • Training and operations career in aviation-related business acceptable to regulatory authorities
