Transaction Reporting - Associate

The Role
Capco is looking for a Transaction Reporting Associate to join our specialist team supporting top-tier financial institutions. You’ll play a vital role in delivering accurate and timely regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions. This is an opportunity to deepen your regulatory knowledge while shaping best practices in a constantly evolving environment.
What You’ll Do
- Ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of regulatory transaction reports (e.g., MiFIR, EMIR, SFTR, CFTC).
- Support reconciliation, exception management, and investigation of reporting breaks.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and resolve data/reporting issues.
- Contribute to control framework enhancements and process improvements.
- Stay informed on regulatory updates, providing insight into their operational impacts.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a transaction reporting, trade support, operations, or regulatory compliance role.
- Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks including MiFIR, EMIR, or equivalent global regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience.
- Ability to work independently and within collaborative teams.
Bonus Points For
- Experience with regulatory reporting platforms (e.g., DTCC, UnaVista, Kaizen).
- Exposure to control testing, audit, or quality assurance in a reporting environment.
- Technical proficiency in Excel, SQL, or data analysis tools.
- Familiarity with agile delivery or change management processes.
- Previous consulting or client-facing experience
